SANDBOX designed it’s first Hawaiian home for the new luxury private golf club on Kauai known as Kukui’ula. With its first Hawaiian design, SANDBOX created a fresh take on traditional island architecture with the introduction of expansive glass and richly stained natural woods, inside and out. Rendering (above) shows the front of the future home with it’s entry court and walls of lava rock.
An open floor plan inside, coupled with large glass window and door walls, creates the feeling of a very spacious home, and captures the panoramic ocean views from virtually every space. Natural stained woods create a warmth, elegance and richness to the home that lends to its unique feel. An abundant mix of covered and uncovered lanai space, complete with a firepit, infinity edge lap pool and spa, compliment the interior spaces, and offer even more great ways to take advantage of the views. Rendering (above) showing the rear of the home with the generous lanai and amenities.
The home has four luxurious master suites to provide ample spaces for extended family stays. Each bedroom has lanai access, and many with expansive ocean views. Rendering (above) by Jeff Brink shows the master looking out to the ocean.
