Influenced by the fly fishing and ranch cabins of Montana, this SANDBOX-designed 2,800 square foot home will break ground in May 2014. Intended to be rustic and understated in its appearance, the home discreetly packs in a lot of function with its open kitchen-dining-great room serving as the central core, flanked by three bedroom suites and a den. The home will serve well as a weekend getaway for a Bay Area family for years to come. A strong emphasis was placed on connection to the outdoors, with a covered dining porch & fireplace, several open terraces areas, a firepit and a sunken boulder spa – all looking out to the putting course and mountains! Computer illustration of the rear elevation (above), with its covered porch, expansive window/door walls and terrace areas.
