SANDBOX designed this 4,700 square foot lakefront home for one of the last vacant parcels on Lake Tahoe’s beloved West Shore, overlooking Hurricane Bay. Currently under agency review and slated to break ground in Summer of 2012, the home will be the first phase in what will ultimately be a multi-structure family compound, connected by a drive that meanders through the forest and up the gentle hill. The main residence will sit majestically near the top of the slope, looking out towards Lake Tahoe and capturing views from virtually every bedroom and social space. Outdoor decks and terraces will provide additional space for entertaining and an opportunity to take-in the fresh mountain air. Hand-drawn elevation (above) of future main house by SANDBOX.
