A quaint 2-bedroom / 2-bath traditional guest house was the first structure SANDBOX designed for the Parker Family. Designed in the "Old Tahoe" vernacular, but with a SANDBOX twist, the cottage has a warm and cozy feel. The Guest House commenced construction in October of 2008 and was finished the following Summer, enabling the Parker's to use it while work began on the much larger Main House. Photo of the Guest House living area (above) by Vance Fox.
The Parker's Guest House sits at the front of the property on the top of the hill, welcoming guests as they arrive through the gate. SANDBOX created a small pond off the back porch of the Guest House, with a meandering stream and waterfalls cascading down towards the Main House. Photo by Vance Fox (above) shows the rear of the Guest House and a portion of the stream.
